- We aim to dispel the myth that braids should be worn for more than six to eight weeks. In fact, braids should be worn for six to eight weeks at most.
- Your hair sheds (whether braided or not) 80 –120 strands daily.
- It is a fact that clipping the ends of your hair promotes healthy hair growth. This should be done at least once every six to eight weeks.
- Washing your hair daily will strip the scalp of its natural oils. These natural oils contribute to healthy hair growth.
- Cornrows and French braids are the same thing.
- There is a healthy and unhealthy way of braiding hair.
- Any race can get their hair braided.
